About
HELIX is an experiential showcase comprised of bold and innovative graduate projects. This year-end exhibit is a product of a creative collaboration between fourth-year Interior Design students and second-year Interior Decorating students.
The journey of studying is filled with bumps and hills, small moments of excitement, fulfillment, and passion. HELIX is the curtain call for our graduating class of designers and decorators to showcase what's in store for the future of design. While difficult moments make the journey more challenging, they ultimately make reaching the finish line more rewarding. Our unique journey of learning has required us to practice resilience, react adaptively, and act with bravery in the face of challenges.

Resilience
Through the ups and downs of learning the trade, surmounting obstacles, and strengthening our design skills, we are finding our niches in the industry. As students split between digital and physical, we juggled long days of intricate research and design. Our remarkable strength has allowed us to design creative works of resilience in which we are proud to showcase.
Bravery
To believe in our ideas is an integral step in growing into a strong well-rounded designer. With the guidance of professors' critiques and learning through trial and error, it takes bravery to accept feedback and allow it to grow our design solutions. Rather than allowing circumstances to defeat us, our work is a testament to the bravery required to take risks in the face of adversity.
Adaptation
With the fluctuating shifts between physical and digital schooling, we overcame the challenge of changing circumstances and the many unknowns. Through our day-to-day tasks, we practiced accommodation, flexibility, and most importantly, adaptation. As a graduating class, we gained unique skills that are key to success in this new, hybrid world.
